Low Carbon Dorset Helping reduce Dorset's footprint

Low carbon Dorset

We hear a lot these days about the need to transition to a low carbon economy in order to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and help tackle climate change.

Low Carbon Dorset is a five year programme of activities to help stimulate growth in Dorset’s low carbon economy and reduce the county’s footprint.

We offer FREE technical support and grant funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Low Carbon Dorset helps businesses, community, and public sector organisations in Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole.

The programme is run by Dorset Council (DC) and the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It aims to help improve your energy efficiency, increase the use of renewable energy, and aid the development of new low carbon products.

‘The amount of help and advice that we received from Low Carbon Dorset was incredible.’

Government has announced that they will be offering grants worth £5,000 to help replace gas boilers with heat pumps from next April https://orlo.uk/teE0r

We've already helped lots of organisations here in Dorset switch to heat pumps - you can read more about them on the case study page of our website 👉 https://orlo.uk/renewable-energy-case-studies_u6bsy
