A key aim of Low Carbon Dorset is to stimulate and demonstrate innovation here in Dorset.

Free support and grant funding is available to help Dorset businesses develop new products or processes which help reduce carbon emissions.

 Grants are available for up to £40k to help get these new low-carbon products or processes off the ground. 

 Activities this grant can fund include:

  • Proving concept
  • Research
  • Marketing

To be eligible for this support you must be a:

Legally constituted Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME), or new start-up located and operating within Dorset, Bournemouth or Poole.
